My Story
For more than two decades, I’ve worked with athletes at every level, from competitive recreational leagues and college programs to touring pros on the WTA and at Grand Slam events like the US Open, solving stubborn pain, guiding smarter recovery, and extending careers. Today, I bring the same pro-caliber, evidence-based care to anyone committed to moving well for a lifetime, not just a season.
As an Emory-trained physical therapist with both MPT and DPT degrees and board certification in sports physical therapy, my clinical work has focused on tennis injuries, running efficiency, home-based mobility, bone health, and the unique challenges of peri- and post-menopause. That includes issues like plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, lateral hip pain, and how shifting hormones and bone density change what your body needs to stay strong. Instead of chasing symptoms, I look at the whole person: your sport, daily demands, stress, sleep, recovery habits, and long-term goals.
I’ve built my career on getting the science right, translating research into realistic action—to help you understand what’s happening in your body, what actually works, and how to make decisions that fit your season of life. Sometimes that means changing how you warm up, rebalancing your training load, or strengthening overlooked links in the kinetic chain, like the feet and hips, so your entire system can support you.
Previously, I traveled full-time with the WTA Tour, working with elite tennis players across four continents at more than a dozen tournaments a year. I’ve also served in leadership and education roles in tennis medicine, including work with the Society for Tennis Medicine and Science (STMS) and teaching sports physical therapy and orthopedics content to the next generation of clinicians. Those experiences shaped how I think about performance, resilience, and the long game of staying healthy.
I’m also a mom and a runner, navigating many of the same questions my patients bring into the clinic: How do I protect my joints, support my bones, honor changing hormones, and still show up fully on the court, trail, or in everyday life? The tools, systems, and recommendations I share are the same ones I’ve tested with touring pros, in clinic, and in my own life.
