Baudo Social Brief

About this app

Baudo Social Brief is a private, internal tool operated by Dr. Melissa Baudo PT ("we," "us"). It reads messages and comments on our own social media accounts and turns them into a daily summary for our team. It is not offered to the public, and it never posts, replies, or deletes anything on its own.

Information we access

The app only accesses Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts that Dr. Melissa Baudo PT owns or manages. From those accounts, it reads:

  • Direct messages sent to our accounts

  • Comments on our posts

  • The sender's public username or display name

  • The date and time of each message or comment

We do not collect passwords, payment information, or data from accounts we do not own or manage.

How we use it

We use this information only to create one private daily email summarizing new messages and comments, with suggested replies. That summary goes only to Dr. Melissa Baudo PT and the people who help manage our accounts. Any reply is written and sent by a person, never automatically. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.

Services that process the data

To run the summary, the information passes through these providers, each under its own privacy policy:

  • Meta (Instagram and Facebook), where the messages and comments originate

  • GitHub, which runs the scheduled script that collects them

  • Google (Gmail), where the collected data and daily summary are delivered

  • Anthropic (Claude), which writes the summary and suggested replies

We do not share this information with anyone else.

Retention and security

The app does not keep its own database. Collected messages and daily summaries stay in our private email account. Access keys are stored as encrypted secrets, never in the code. We delete summaries we no longer need and limit access to the people who manage our accounts.

Requesting deletion of your data

If you messaged or commented on one of our accounts and want that information removed from our summaries, email us at admin@melissabaudo.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include your username. We will delete any summaries containing your messages within 30 days and confirm by email.

You can also delete your own messages and comments directly in Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn at any time.
