I was fortunate to work with Dr. Melissa Baudo Marchetti at a time in my career I was experiencing lower back spasms. I had never before experienced dry needling and Redcord before working with Melissa. While I walked into her office with a tight and aching lower back, after 2 hours of therapy, I walked out of the office feeling limber and fluid. It was almost difficult to believe that I felt as poorly as I did when I walked through Melissa's door. I highly recommend her combination of skilled manual therapy, myofascial release techniques, and her knowledge of the athlete's body.

Melissa Baudo is terrific, it’s that simple.

I was struggling with elbow pain for two months and getting treated by another PT in Atlanta but was not making any progress to playing pain-free tennis—or any tennis at all. Melissa was recommended by a doctor at Emory as “a great PT who knows tennis.” He was exactly right.  We went through a course of treatment hoping to get me healthy and back on court while avoiding any medical procedures. Melissa told me this was a 50-50 proposition and, ultimately, I needed PRP. She pulled strings to get the right doctor at Emory to see me quickly and gave me wonderful care and advice about getting back on court.  In addition to focusing on tennis, Melissa has provided me with a holistic approach to better health, showing me exercises, stretches and even a better chair to use at work.

Melissa is an expert and a caring professional.  I wish I had known about her before getting hurt, as I am sure it could have been avoided. Now that she has helped me return to the court, I plan to rely on her advice and treatment to keep me there!

I have been working with Melissa for over 2 1/2 years now.  I started treatment with her for some tightness in my neck and back while in CrossFit. Then, I developed tennis elbow.  She treated me with dry needling, soft tissue mobilization, and helped me get more core control and strength using the Redcord Suspension Trainer.  Working with Melissa has been fantastic for me. Following a PRP injection to my elbow followed by weekly visits with Melissa, my tennis elbow was gone within two months and I was back on the court.  I have seen a lot of PTs in the past, but I shared my appointment with several other people.  Melissa is completely one-on-one for the entire session, so we were really able to focus on me. She is incredibly knowledgable and always knows how to treat my issues.  Melissa has so much experience with tennis players and tennis injuries.  I have and will continue to recommend Melissa to anyone.  She is such a great resource to have in Atlanta.

Lauren M

NCAA Division 1 Collegiate Tennis Player

Our daughter, Lauren, is currently a Division 1 collegiate tennis player.  She met Melissa Baudo when she was thirteen years old. We had just moved to the Atlanta area and Lauren had a back injury and needed a good PT.  Thankfully we contacted the USTA and they directed us to Melissa.  Lauren would not be where she is today without Melissa.  Melissa is not your typcial PT.  She goes above and beyond to make sure the athlete gets back to 100%.  Her comprehensive treatment is amazing.  She taught Lauren so much about her body and the mechanics that are involved in tennis.  She taught her how to take better care of herself, and how to recognize when she needed treatment. Melissa's treatment went way beyond the PT clinic or treatment room.  She gave Lauren warm up and cool down plans, proper stretching techniques, and many other valuable resources for preventing injuries. Lauren is now a great advocate for herself in college when injuries flare up because of the knowledge and confidence Melissa instilled in her.  We moved to NC when Lauren was a senior in high school, but we still made many trips to Atlanta to see Melissa when injuries would flare up.  Lauren calls Melissa her "PT Fairy Godmother."  If you ask Lauren who were the most influential people were in helping her achieve her dream of playing Division 1 tennis, Melissa Baudo would be the first person she would name. Lauren still communicates with Melissa even as a collegiate athlete. Melissa's expertise in working with athletes is a rare find.  We are blessed that she was and still is a part of Lauren's life.  We are forever grateful to her.    Roy and Lisa McCall
